27th Sep 2020 - Manipur tourism forum celebrated the World Tourism Day 2020 at the campus of Imphal Peace Museum, Nambol. The celebration was chaired by N Loken Singh, Hon’ble MLA - Nambol AC as Chief Guest, Dr Th Dhabali Singh,Founder President – MTF as Guest of Honour, Kh Krishnan Singh – President MTF as president of the function along with Laishram Pateshwori Devi, Councillor
Ward no. 15 Nambol Municipal Council and Invitees and member of Manipur Tourism Forum.
A formal Function was celebrated with emphasis on the Theme Tourism and Rural Development, with participation form local communities. President of Manipur, Kh Krishnan Singh Highlight the Importance of Local Communities in the Development of Tourism and Appeal to the local communities to be part of development of Tourism in and Surrounding area of Imphal Peace Museum and
Nambol. Dr Th Dhabali Singh highlight the importance of Tourism in economic development of the state. Hon’ble MLA of Nambol AC, N loken Singh appeal to the locality of Nambol to give emphasis and corporation in development of Tourism with participation of Local Communities. The formal function was concluded and followed by tree plantation at the campus of Imphal Peace Museum.
